Hello!

Today in Math, the grade 7D class continued on with their work on the order of operations.
To reinforce these concepts, page 76 numbers 1,2,3,4,5,and 6 were assigned as homework.

There will be a science unit 1 test on Friday Dec 5th for the 7D class and on Thursday December 4th for the 7C class.

Hello!
The grade 7D and C science classes both have page 67 - numbers 1, 3 and 4 in their textbooks to do. They are due next class.

PLease remember that Thursday is Hot Lunch, that Rabbit Hill ski forms are due back ASAP and that the 7D class has their pizza lunch on Friday - No lunch required!

7C Science - Students have pages 62 and 63 to read summarize according to the format that we discussed in class. This exercise to designed to help students begin to acquire the necessary tools to study successfully.

Tuesaday November 18th

It was wonderful to meet everyone today - both at our 7D pot luck lunch and at Parent/Teacher interviews!

Please remember that you never need a reason to come into our classroom - you are always welcome!

The second set of interviews are on Thursday - I look forward to seeing the rest of you then...

As for homework.... The grade 7D class has the unit 3.9 worksheet to finish.
I will collect it in our next class. Science tests must be signed and returned to me by Thursday at the latest.

7C has to complete the diagram of the Water Cycle. Please be sure to include the definitions of each part of the diagram. Science tests must be signed and returned to me by Thursday at the latest.

Friday the 21st is our Mid Term Break - Enjoy the day off!

Hello!

Today in Science the grade 7C took notes on the Carbon Cycle and the Water Cycle...
Then - I informed them of the upcoming quiz on Topics 3&4 on Wednesday of next week.
The students have all been given an indepth review of what the test will entail and they also wrote the pertinent info in their note books.

7D will be having the same quiz on Thursday covering the same topics.

7d Math - page 3.8 has been assigned for homework if they have not finished and handed it in.

As a reward for having won the UNICEF challenge, the 7D class will be having a Pot Luck Lunch! The date is Nov 18th. Each student volunteered a dish to bring. Parents and siblings are welcome to join in on the celebration! If you have any questions or concerns regarding our luncheon, please do not hesitate to call me at school (780 929 5988)

Hello Parents and guardians!

Just a quick note on the 7C Science homework...
Students are to read pages 49 through 54 in their textbooks and answer questions 1 through 4 on page 54. I will be collecting this on Thursday.

Points of Interest...

This week - we have early dismissal on Wednesday

Friday is Western Day - Students are encouraged to wear their most waaayyyy out Western Wear! There will be prizes awarded to the class with the most active participation!

Report Cards will be sent home next Wednesday...
