Hello everyone!

Looks like we are in the home stretch now! Next week, the following items are due;

7D - Math - unit 11.3, questions 1 through 9 due Monday
Science -Definitions for unit 2 and Le cycle des roches drawing also due Monday.

7C - Science - Monday will be your last day to put the finishing touches on your bridges! Please come equipped with everything you will need to hand in a completed product!



Wednesday May 29th - grade 4/5 orientation night
Tuesday May 28th District Track meet
Wednesday May 29th 7D - trip to Fort Edmonton Park - Bring lunch, H20 bottle, umbrella, sunscreen, hat... goodness only knows what surprises the weather may have in store for us!

Science We will be starting our bridge construction on the 27th of April so please make sure that students have all of the necessary materials to begin.

I hope that you all had a wonderful March break and that you are all well rested!
REMEMBER....Just over 11 weeks of school left!

Here's the latest...
7D - Math homework today is page 243 in the text - questions 1,2,3,4, and 6.
Thursday is crazy hair/crazy hat day.
Friday and Monday are holidays (Easter)
Tuesday - Hot lunch forms are due

As things come up, I will do my best to keep you in the loop!

Missing blogs - ??

Hello everyone! It seems that for the month of March, the blogs that I have entered have been lost in cyber space!
so - I will do a quick recap of what has been going on for the month of March.

Report cards were sent home yesterday (March 18th). If you would like to schedule an interview (either on the 24th or the 26th) please send the enclosed blue forms back to school with your requested times...

We will be having a pot luck lunch on the 24th of March. Each student has volunteered to bring an item. We are asking that each student bring something that is either a quick microwave re-heat or that can be plugged in to stay warm.
Any parent volunteers that can make it would be greatly appreciated by 11:30 ish.

7D Science test - next Friday (March 27th) Chapters 1 and 2 of unit 4
Math quiz Monday on Unit 9.
This test is on finding the variables in equations. I am very confident that
the kids will do well on this test. They have grasped the concepts of
this chapter extremely well.

Option B classes have changed for the third trimester. Please make sure that students have the appropriate clothing or equipment for their new classes.

MARCH BREAK is from 28th of March until the 5th of April. (inclusive)
Easter break is Friday the 10th of April to the 13th of April (inclusive)

7D - Science - Title pages are due tomorrow (Friday)
7D Math - Math quiz on Chapter 7, on Thursday of next week. Tomorrow, I will give students an indepth review of what will be on this test.

Science 7C&D We are in the midst of beginning our new unit on Structures and Forces -This unit promises to be very exciting with loads to learn and absorbe (pardon the puns!)

Only a few things to report on...

Math 7D - Quiz on unit 5 on Wednesday - Outline has been given to students.
Science - PLease have tests signed and returned ASAP. - RE-TEST will be next Tuesday. Outline will be given on Wednesday.

PJ day and Neon day on Wednesday.
Hot Lunch on Thursday!
PD day on Friday!

Hello!

I hope you are all enjoying the wonderful weather we are having!

Quick update with regards to 7C and 7D classes...

7c - Please make sure that you have completed your Fibre Plants and the Forestry worksheet. We will be taking it up tomorrow. As well, we will be discussing Topic4 subjects.

7D - Math - Page 125, questions 2, 3, 4, and 5 are due tomorrow. Rotations can be tricky so please take your time and use cut outs if you have to to make sure that you have completed this assignment correctly.

7D Science - Please remember to study for your topics 1 to 3 test that is on Friday.

Jan 28th Neon Day
Jan 30 - NO SCHOOL! Instituit day - which means that it is a day to relax and enjoy some family time.

Hello everyone!
I would like to ake this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful new year!
Remember, you are always welcome to call me regarding your childs progress, current (or upcoming) school events or any questions at all... Our classroom has an open door policy as well - Feel free to come in and join us at any time. It makes for great dinner conversation!

On to our homework...

Science - 7c Anyone who has not completed their Lima Bean activity must have it completed and handed in to me by Friday at the latest. Also, for anyone who has not completed their review questions on page 131, please have them completed by tomorrow (Thursday). 7C will be having a topics 1 to 3 test on Tuesday January 20th. An indepth review has been given to the students.

Science 7D -They will be having their unit test on Friday January 23rd. Their outline will be given on Friday the 16th.

Math 7D Unit 5.2 Page 116,# 1,2,3,5- Anyone who was not able to finish their assignment in class should have it done for tomorrows class (Thursday).
